When Hussein took over Irag he made everyone in the parliament stand up and make a pledge to him. Some didn’t and some Hussein didn’t like anyway. They were all escorted out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLUktJbp2Ug This is what I think when I hear “loyalty pledge”

The loyalty pledge in the primary debates was put there for Trump’s benefit. Early on some of the other candidates had been hinting that it might be wrong to support a candidate who had led an insurrection against United States and the GOP wanted to ensure there wouldn’t be any opposition from within the party during the general election if Trump won the nomination. Then Trump himself became the only candidate who refused to agree to the pledge because of course he did.

I’m actually surprised that the gQp hasn’t tried to rewrite the Pledge of Allegiance by inserting trump’s name.

The Republican Party still exists, so that would be a NO!

Seeing as he’s going to turn out to be an evil, duplicitous piece of shit like the last bunch of nominees, they’re getting their excuses in early.
