Seriously? Some assholes want to blame a 17 year old girl for not assaulting group of white cops who are already proving they are absolutely willing to kill? She showed great courage by staying and bearing witness. The cops alone bear responsibility for what they did.

Pretty much the one person that provided the best and clearest evidence of murder and misconduct is being questioned that she didn’t do enough? She’s a hero in my book and i’m sorry she’s having to carry the trauma of what happened, i wish i could give her a hug.

Five cops means four more who could have done the same thing to her. And there’d be less proof and easier to make it all disappear.

it’s less a pitting against, and more a trickle down of violence.
there are very few black americans who are advocating for a blacks only united states, yet we’ve got maybe 20% percent of white america who want america for whites only, and an unfortunately larger percentage who’d probably be fine with that.
so it’s not that people are mindlessly against each other. it’s that our form of capitalism and white supremacy has made people so terrified of being at the bottom rungs that they’re willing to step on the people lower down.
look at things like affirmative action, and see how angry everyday white people get when there’s even a hint of trying to rectify the status quo - because they dont want to be left behind
and, disarming the police? white people are terrified of supposed black and latino crime, so they’ve given cops ( ice, border patrol ) the guns and impunity to kill.

Rubber bullets and tasers are called by the police ‘less lethal’ rounds. Lethality, like pregnancy, is not qualitative. Properly, they are “less often lethal” rounds. Every use includes the possibility of death.

I think we can drop the almost at this point. Dann that is disturbing. When you use soldiers don’t be surprised if they think they are in a war zone and that any civilians are possible combatants. Only that these civilians are their own compatriots on their own front porches.
And some of the guardsmen may have been protesters themselves just the day before.

Surprise surprise. A couple years ago, Putin’s defence minister and Tromp’s UN ambassador, cabinet-level officers, declared that Russia is waging war on the US. Any support of Russia by a US resident thus meets the constitutional definition of treason. Putin’s white nationalist tools are traitors. Judges acquitting them are traitors. Politicians supporting them are traitors. But if they succeed, none dare call it treason.

To me it sounds like every single officer that had their bodycams off are accessories to murder. Bodycams don’t just happen to turn off, it was planned violence even if they did not intend to kill someone.
