I’m sure one could argue back and forth all day long about the order (for example, Black men theoretically achieved universal suffrage before women, a Black man was elected President before a woman, etc.) but suffice to say that America is both incredibly sexist and incredibly racist.
Europe wants to join that conversation with some power moves.
By many metrics Europe is MASSIVELY more racist than the US. Mostly we underperform the US in sexism by purely neoliberal metrics so jury’s out there.

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
That’s the 9th Amendment.
So, when someone claims something isn’t allowed because ‘It’s not in the Constitution’, it is obvious they never read it… or understood it.
