The world is full of advice for how to best absorb abuse from strangers. Women are raised on it and drilled on it.

What I’d really like is if people (especially men) learned how deliver feedback in a respectful and constructive fashion. As someone who’s work is all public, I can say that 99% of feedback is not about you or your work. It’s about that person craving a platform for their unappreciated genius. They’re making it about them, not you.

THAT is what we need viral listicles about, please.
