I have no idea what sort of thing I just signed up for, but it’s anime and Japan related so it should be somewhat interesting.
This seems like it might be germane and I haven’t seen any other reference to it on BoingBoing (If it’s already been discussed I apologise.).
Country musician Sturgill Simpson released a remarkable piece of work on Netflix last year (I think). It’s currently hiding in the bowels of Netflix Ireland and no one seems to have noticed.
Sturgill Simpson presents Sound and Fury is a sort of Country Apocalypse Disco concept album with an accompanying Japanese Anime movie. It sounds highly improbable but the end result is remarkable!
