If anyone was wondering why Facebook (in its usual half-baked, empty-promises way) and Google (with its just-enabled features) suddenly became very concerned about user privacy over the past few weeks, here’s your answer.

And we should expect any such law to basically approve anything those big corporations want to do…our system of legal bribery will see to that.

Looking forward to the thoughtful and well-reasoned objections so such legislation from Big Data, as well as timing exactly how long it will take to boil all the scaremongering fluff-verbiage away to reveal the true core of their objection: “It will reduce our profits from a flood to a river! Nu-u-u-u!!!1!!1!!!”
