New topic to stop me polluting the Fucking NY Times with Fucking Irish Times bullshit (which is of less general interest if no less infuriating!)

I made it channel really to allow the BBC in particular here (RTÉ too, though they annoy me less than the IT).

I think this is different than the Society of Spectacle thread as it’s for the particular irritation that those channels that consider themselves better than the rest engender when they simply aren’t. They may know better, but they don’t act it.

Please enlighten us Anglo speaking monoglots to the world of teeth clenching irritation we may be missing!

Is using less oil a good thing? Not if you are a lobbyist for oil and gas importers invited by the fucking Irish times to have a “debate”.

Bonus points for the coded rural fascist dog whistles all over his part of the article. Rural fash love their diesel. It’s a point of honour.
