After the movie, some of these ended up back at dealerships for use as promotional vehicles.
There was one on display on the East Link bridge in Dublin for a while.

A bit of a conversation piece, for sure. But the original trucks were so awesome I’d want to convert it back to the ambulance body like the orange one on google.
Irrelevant. Its the condition of the components that matters and everything is replaceable. It will break down regardless.

1 ton Land Rovers were constantly breaking down. I shouldn’t think the last 45 years have been kind to this one.

I think I remember seeing this as a kid, recycled as part of some ‘energy of the future’ exhibit at a Garden Festival
