This was by far the most (if not the only) interesting game of Monopoly ever played.
I’m pretty sure “Monopoly made awesome with swordplay” is the origin story for Gloomhaven.

It’s honestly more surprising when any game of Monopoly doesn’t end in a sword fight.

And when they say “on the public highway”, I am assuming that is also a bad translation and it should be a sidewalk or something like that.

I always said that Settlers of Katana was a far more exciting land-acquisition game than Monopoly.
