If you want to bring someone else’s bad behavior to the mods attention the most effective way to do that is still to flag them and not engage (or do engage, but expect to feel really frustrated and for those replies to vanish when the flagged posts do)

user QuickBrownFox has been given a timeout for suggesting that we not cover the additional peril people of colour are facing in Ukraine because we are all in peril due to the possibility of expansion of the war. They are suffering, and with less of a voice than others, because mainstream media is choosing not to cover the bigotry and hatred on display.

User WoolyBugger has been given a timeout for attempting to use the moderation system to silence female voices (specifically) who, one assumes, are being too aggressive or engaged in topics involving women’s health and safety. You have been here before. You should know better.
This sort of behaviour is wholly ineffective, because not only is it extremely obvious when a user attempts this, but very quickly the flags that do not result in action reduce the “weight” of flags like this to zero. The moderation system exists to notify us of posts that violate our guidelines, not to silence those you disagree with, and especially not to silence our users who identify as Women on topics that overwhelmingly affect those of their gender.

User Wesley Jones has been suspended. All sponsored posts are marked as such, unfounded accusations are not cool. Coverage of the topic the user complained about has been all over the map, the user may buzz off.

greg_codori has been given a timeout. His reaction to the realization that Women read comic books was to begin calling other mutants names, and generally demonstrate a lack of the sort of refinement and self-control one might expect from serious comic fans.
At least the ones I know.
Update: this ban is now permanent due to attempts at ban evasion.
