I found a great source for this one.
Thank you so much. I was interested in the photographer, location, date, stuff like that, whereas the TinEye finds are just the jpgs as copied on various sites. Your “great source” for the Civil War photo is exactly the sort of thing I mean, but unfortunately that’s not one of the photos I was looking for.
But I do really appreciate the effort you’ve made to help me!
I get a bee in my bonnet sometimes, and my brother always comes to me when he needs to find an internet thing that he can’t (and he’s in IT). I’ve been known to scour for days sometimes.
I greyscaled the gifs and used those to search, ordered by date on TinEye, which finds the jpgs and site source.
