Use to see this in the Texas coastal counties when I was a kid. Usually single webs, but sometimes colonies, of the golden orb weaver, Nephila clavipes. They usually donāt get any bigger than a manās palm. Not found in WA state, nosirree.
We are apparently living in an M. Night Shyamalan movie.
