It looks like they have something more like an all-in-one. The refer to it as a laptop, but I think that’s a bit of a stretch.
I also found the pi-top, which seems like a more traditional form factor.
My daughter(5) has said that she wants a laptop, but I think either of these may still be a bit too advanced for her, although I like the modular, DIY aspects of them.
Assuming future revisions of the pi maintain the same form-factor, these could provide viable upgrade paths.
