Bamp ba babam, bamp ba babam…
Been there done that. (And it was great!)
Huh, an electric dulcimer. Once one has made that leap, it makes sense that punk songs quickly follow on, as it’s not so dissimilar to an electric guitar, really.
Hmm, now I want a hurdy gurdy version… but there isn’t one. Internet, you have let me down.
Gabbah Gabbha Hey!
One of us. One of us.
Following my own research, I can confirm this odd lack of content. This is an odd failing on the part of the entire World Wide Web. Not a single Hurdy Gurdy Ramone’s cover?!
However, I like the proper punk sensibility on display here.

He even nailed the solo…
This is great but probably can’t be done on the average wall dulcimer. This guy’s dulcimer is chromatically fretted, but most standard dulcimers are diatonic. The modulations would be impossible for sure, and it’s possible that the tune itself just isn’t easily achievable on a standard dulcimer.
Still awesome, though.
I want nothing
I want nothing

Oh no oh oh oh oh
