Great deal on the Parker Jotter, the best cheap yet superficially classy pen

I’ve carried the same red plastic jotter around for perhaps 15 years now. It’s a good little pen. Parker’s refills are acceptable, there are a few other fancier refills that will fit into it. Including Fischer, if you like the spacepen ink; it write upsidedown, dries fast, and only leaks out like 30% of the time.

I’ve got one of those in my pocket right now. And while I love its clickiness and the writeability, I’m somewhat put off by the shape. It is so tapered and smooth that I find it slips out of my fingers while writing.

Sorry, I don’t. Is the newer ink an improvement?

I think a little smoother, but I also have the feeling they may have totally switched over to it at this point. The cartridges should be marked as such.
