Yes, Ambient 2: Plateaux of Mirror is a collaboration between Eno and Harold Budd, and is quite good. Ambient 3: Day of Radiance is by harpist Laraaji and I remember it being “OK”, though I haven’t heard it in a long time.
The problem I have with Music For Airports is that it sounds like process music, which of course it is. Eno is big on processes that create music, and that album sounds like what it is: a series of repeating and overlapping loops with little or no human input once it’s initiated. I’m not opposed to processes like that, but the best ones are more than the sum of their parts.
