I understand what you mean, and as it happens I’m happily omnivorous^, however …
… the start of this little digression was that firearms are negative items. They’re negative because they were created and exist to kill things. Killing things is negative, which makes guns negative.
Now, I will fully grant you that sometimes killing things can lead to an outcome that is an overall positive (for the killer, at least. Very seldom is that true for the killee), but there is a reason that killing is fairly high up on most culture’s lists of taboos.
