It’s a decent article in that it looks at Harding not only from the perspective that she was in an abusive relationship with Gilooly but that her treatment by the press was also very abusive, often on explicitly classist terms. But you’re correct in that it tends to disparage Kerrigan’s talent on the basis that she literally skated by on her looks, which is the sort of sexist attack that rarely if ever gets leveled at men.
