Hater's guide to the Williams-Sonoma Catalogue

Or… you could go to a ranch 99 (or any other local ethnic market like an H-mart etc…) and buy a super cheap round bottomed wok where the people who culturally tend to use woks shop.

And by comparison: My large Lodge cast iron skillet, damn near $100 at Williams Sonoma. ~$25 at Smart and Final.

Seriously though, this is a store that exists to fleece those who want to feel like they’re special and “fancy”.

Hell, if you don’t go to a Ranch 99 (or if they don’t exist near you), restaurant supply stores have all sorts of varied stuffs.

I know where you got that username. I’m still waiting for the movie adaptation.

Excellent rant!

However, it managed to trigger a Pet Peeve Alert: Bambi is a male.
In the 1923 book he is a Capreolus capreolus or roe deer, which the 1942 film changed into an Odocoileus virginianus or white-tailed deer. Which is fully covered by artistic license.
There is also the other Bambi in that one episide of The Young Ones who is played by Griff Rhys Jones.

I know, I know…
