He’s narrowly framing questions about Trump and Russia so that he is technically correct while missing important broader issues. It’s like insistently pointing out that the only felony Al Capone was proven beyond a reasonable doubt to have committed was tax evasion. It’s true, but isn’t the best way of approaching Capone’s career.
