Are the flavors of the gum stuck under the tables vintage as well?
I’m going to agree somewhat that the pizza is what made Pizza Hut, but honestly what you just said is why every local Hut near me is take out only. Over the last +15 years their service went to garbage. I get it…and it becomes a horrible negative feedback. Less people coming in makes it harder to justify staff and then when it gets busy there isn’t enough staff to wait tables or clean up.
The wife and I had our first date at The Hut, we also ate there on our wedding night (not intentional before we ended up there, but it seemed fitting). A fresh hot pan pizza is glorious, but if the restaurant you are in has sticky tables and lack luster or rude service is it really any better than just getting take out?
Is this list supposed to be from corporate, a single persons cataloging, or a group thing?
From what I can tell there is a dine in Pizza Hut a ways down the road from me, but not on the list.

I’m not really sure if it’s a “classic” store, but from what I can tell it still is dine in.
So, I finally clicked through to the list and, much to my surprise - considering I live in the middle of nowhere, found that there is a Pizza Hut Classic about a half hour away from me. I also saw the vintage Book It poster and felt the pull. I think that I will be heading over there, flavor be damned. Following a 24 hour fast. Thanks for the pro tip, @smulder
I’d be tempted to try a classic Pizza Hut if there were one near me, just for the nostalgia, but, before all the ones I knew—including the take-out only places—closed my experiences with the Hut were negative. Being charged prices that were higher than what the menu said, managers who yelled at customers, orders that weren’t even started when I went in to pick them up…
The ones that are still open must be the good ones.
ETA I still enjoy this commercial.
Not going to deny it; I might be willing to try the turkey wing flambe.
