Nas had a song in the mid-90’s called If I Ruled the World, and one of his most ominous lyrics has always stuck with me:
“Evidently, it’s elementary, they want us all gone eventually.”
He was talking about Black folks specifically at the time, but it applies to everyone who is outside of that tiny percentage of powerful White men who control everything,
