I remember trying to hunt down a nice plastic stencil for drawing hexagons, pentagons, that obnoxious chair-conform of cyclohexane, etc back in the day. They were all shockingly expensive for a piece of plastic with holes cut therein. They’re still on the pricey side:

I used to be able to decent buy hex notebooks in the shop with the D&D notebooks… but that was 35 years ago.

I did a lot of web searching for Isometric paper once upon a time (think three dee triangle graph paper) and found the website papersnake.com to have excellent pdfs of lots of graph types. I go the the copy shop, print a bunch of double sided pages and have them bind them together. It appears papersnake also have lots of hex paper to choose from.

I didn’t read too closely but I don’t think I saw anyone mention jetpens.com. In addition to every sort of pen and pencil the aficionado might care to view or purchase, they have a generous selection of heavy-weighted paper tablets. I am not sure if I’ve seen any hex tablets there but I have bought these maruman spiral notebooks with 5mm quadrille squares and 70 gsm paperweight (I don’t know what that is in imperial, but it’s the heaviest notebook paper I’ve ever owned). https://www.jetpens.com/Maruman-Spiral-Note-Basic-Notebook-B5-Graph/pd/20908#index=1
