Ya’d think. We had a dalmatian that: unlocked his crate, managed to scoot it away from the wall, then open a LOCKED door with a knob.

This is why prudent malinois owners and velociraptor handlers use standard doorknobs instead of the lever-handle kind. (Speaking as someone who has one of those carnivores living in their house.)

Once you eat the kidproofing cover off the knob, pads have good traction on it.
