How can a disease with 1% mortality shut down the United States?

It should be noted that among the people killed by the 1918 pandemic flu, was no less than Frederick Trump, Donnie’s grandfather. This man doesn’t learn from events despite his own family being affected.

This is a disturbing thought to file under WDKS: No one has survived for even a year after having recovered from COVID-19. Next year, we can all have a good laugh about it. I hope.

Not everything is about money. A person’s value to society is not equivalent to their net economic output. If society were actually that cruel, my sister would have been thrown away 40 years ago.
