I touch type, so none of those settings really bothered me at all. Like the poster above, I know when I’ve made a mistake and can backspace and fix before seeing the text on the screen.

Sod your “using a modem thirty years ago” grandpa, I had worse latency than that this morning, ssh-ing into a machine on the other end of a <1MB DSL connection.
Even less fun when you have to use VNC as well.
Still, input lag is fine if you can’t touchtype, and you look at the keyboard when you type. It turned it up past 200ms without noticing any problems
