it also seems like – as far as uniform block size goes, if you build inwards from both corners you can fudge the block sizes in the middle to fix the accumulated differences up*. might also be a bit of what causes the “seam” shown in the video ( that he says might be down to stair construction )

This guy made a hobby of figuring out how to move/lift giant stones.
