Oh please. Stop with the revisionist history already.
Most of the people who lived at that compound had jobs off site of the premises that they left for every single day. The ATF waited until a sunday when everyone was contained in the compound to execute their heavy handed raid and the results are what they are.
If cooler, smarter minds had prevailed they would have set up a perimeter on a weekday and detained/separated more than half of the residents from that compound safely as they returned to the premises from work (1993 - no cell phones). They would have saved the lives of women and children if they handât gone âmachoâ with their search warrant.
The stupidity of assailing the compound when the most people were inside is staggering - and thats why there was such a loss of life. No matter how bat guano nuts those people were.
