I wanted the Yoda minifig.
At least the set wasn’t something insanely expensive and work intensive like the Millennium Falcon Curious that Yoda would be included with such a vehicle but worked out for you.
Things that are things. Fuhgeddaboudit.
Haha. I bought this for my son for the same reaon, plus R2. Then I bought the “R2D2 & C3P0’s guide to…” book for the C3P0 minifig (sorry, couldn’t find link on Amazon.)
Our eldest was madly into minifigs for a while. My wife would defend it (and associated consumerism) as a “collecting” type hobby. I’d look at all the now unloved and disassembled week-old minifigs scattered through the bins of Lego and counter that he didn’t collect them, he just wanted to “get” them, only for the shallow rush of acquisition. As soon as one was acquired, the next one was a desperate goal. I still think I was right. His current “collection”? Zero.
My mom bought me this set just for the Jawa figurine when Episode I came out. I was 22 at the time, but she was excited that new Star Wars movies were coming out and she could relive buying action figures for her son again.
Well that pisses me off.
why does Yoda have a starfighter? This is why I only focus on the main movies, all the other expanded stuff doesn’t seem to get it. This is no different to a Jedi driving a tank
