I did not expect a Voight-Kamff test in Hidden Folks, a cozy hidden object game

No, you are an android who has learned how to cheat the test.

Nobody expects the Voight-Kamff inquisition!

So, I am not a replicant, in case anyone was wondering.

Sounds like something a Replicant would say…

“You’re in a desert. You look down and you see Mitch McConnell crawling towards you. You reach down and flip Mitch on his back. Mitch lays on his back, his belly baking in the hot sun, waving his arms and legs trying to flip himself over, but he can’t. Not without your help, and you’re not helping. Why is that?”

“Do you really need to ask?”

“I guess you’re not a replicant after all.”

After suffering abuse at the hand of a narcissistic cult-leader boss, I’m convinced that PKD personally devised the Voight-Kampff as a test for narcissists and sociopaths. Except in this case what you’re screening for is a lack of empathy, by provoking emotional responses that would be obvious if you tried to fake them.

So this is sort of a Robert D. Hare and Tortoise test?
