I put a quote from Zhuangzi on a motivational poster background showing a mountain top, years ago. The quote was
ACHIEVEMENT
is the beginning of failure
fame is the beginning of disgrace

I had that on my cubicle wall for a good while, never got any comments on it though. No, I remember now that someone thought it was a great quote about continuous improvement, not resting on your laurels, etc.
Boy did they get the wrong message, lol.
