A few months ago I blocked twitter and tiktok on my phone. It’s easy to do with IOS if you’re willing to give up porn sites. At least those you don’t whitelist. Not a problem for me, but . . . different strokes . . . (Just had to add that

Go to Screen Time, Content Restrictions, Web Content, activate adult site blocking. Then add any sites you want blocked to the manual blacklist.
I never even see twitter or tiktok quotes or images now in any feed. Those sites now get zero traffic from me. Ever. [Instagram too. Didn’t neglect the Zuckerverse.]
But to your complaint, this wouldn’t block someone’s posted screenshot.
[ETA] I should block for my laptop and anything else on my home network by adding their domains to my Pihole DNS filter. Easy enough if you already have one set up. But a bit of fiddling to build a Pihole you don’t. A cheap Pi Zero W is *perfectly * adequate if you want to build it. I think they are $15 list plus a USB power brick and a case.
