They call it “lengua de gato” or cat’s tongue. I can’t handle liquids that are too hot, so for me, hot enough two hours later, in this press, is enough.
That might not be hot enough for others, which is why I mention it. My father, for instance, could only drink one cup before it was not hot enough. Of course, with a glass french press, you get even less time.
it was less about the temperature but the time - to kickstart me in the morning I need to guzzle 2 to 3 mugs of caffeine solution in less than an hour…
Even making it yourself, it involves less than 11 hours work across the entire brewing cycle. Just make sure you do big enough batches and it’s fine!
This just proves that UI ‘designers’ will continue to get it wrong in the future.
