The weird thing is that normally the blood etc… isn’t wasted. It’s saved in a big tank, and sold for animal feed and fertilizer. There’s got to be some sort of weird misrouting of plumbing going on, because it’s not like the blood just gets washed down a drain in your standard slaughterhouse.
