A great loss. Here’s the man himself playing one of those earwig type melodies that circle around and are quite hypnotic. The whole album - the well below the valley- is full of Liam O’Flynns playing. My favourite is ‘The dog among the bushes’ which is such an exciting tune to listen to but I couldn’t find an easy to post version.
A favorite of mine. The Dark Slender Boy
A great loss indeed. His playing on Enya’s albums introduced me to one of my favorite instruments, the Uilleann pipes, and I’ve loved his work ever since.
