The Jerusalem Post is not the ally of progressives anywhere, least of all in Israel. I can see a report of an opinion piece in Ha’aretz which state that Netanyahu must go (that is, the existence of this piece in another newspaper is the news), or news pieces which point out that he’s wildly disliked in Israel, but many, many more stating that his troubles aren’t his fault, that it’s the Left in Israel and the US which are really to blame, and he’s doing his best, he’s really not that bad, you should be thanking him really.

Like, maybe Bibi’s not great, but you shouldn’t say mean things about him. Or it’s the US Left who are behind criticisms of Bibi. Or it’s not just woke lefty scum who are criticising Bibi… but it’s mainly that.

Jerusalem Post is stanning Bibi, and has been for ages.
