Baffling that they were convicted in the first place, given the state of the art in predicting earthquakes.

Personally, I think they should outsource it to Asia. It’s a natural. We could have fear-Hmongers.

A couple of points:

  • It’s taken 5 fucking years to get to this point, and the acquittal
    can still be overturned by a higher court.
  • The government official swept up in the insanity has not been
    acquitted, he has merely had his sentence for witchcraft reduced to
    two years from six.
