Been enjoying Seinfeld and chill.
Also been thinking about how yesterday’s jokes become edgy social commentary which then become socially accepted taboo.

I’d never watched Seinfeld before, despite hearing how funny it was.
So when it popped up on Netflix recently, I decided to give it a shot and yeeeeeeeeaaaa…nope.
Didn’t find it funny at all.
Maybe it was a product of its time, or maybe my tolerance for canned laughter has just dropped right off of a cliff thanks to its relative absence in modern comedies.
But I just found very little to like about it, and it seemed just too forced.

I had the same experience with US version of The Office. I loved the UK version but couldn’t get past three episodes of the US version.

My kids won’t even try Seinfeld for this very reason.
