I wonder if Peter Hook will be at the induction. Sounds like there’s still issues between him and the others.

The potential of a Joy Division/New Order induction does come with the specter of some possible drama. Hook — who’s written two memoirs about his life and in outside of music — has been at odds with Sumner, Morris and Gilbert since 2011, when New Order reformed without him after a four-year hiatus. The resulting lawsuit was settled out of court, but Hook says the musicians “still haven’t spoken, personally in 11 years. We’re still fighting hammer and tong, tooth and nail… I think we’re going for the record for the longest group fallout in history. It’s very tragic."

I don’t think he’s right about longest group fallout. Johnny and Joey Ramone didn’t speak for year or even reconcile while Joey was dying.

if Willie Nelson doesn’t get in, i think rioting is acceptable.

I love Willie, but honestly, I don’t think I care about the R-n-R HOF… it’s less about talent and cultural importance and more about the industry patting itself on the back…

Might not be a bad show, I don’t know if they can top Dolly Parton and Rob Halford on the same stage doing Jolene but I’ll give it a watch.

Warren Zevon, Lawyers Guns and Money is high on my all time favorite playlist.

I might have made a tactical error not going to a physician for 20 years…

… Enjoy every sandwich.

Dad get me out of this.

oh, of course it is. but still, some people warrant the respect it offers, and Willie definitely is one of them.
