I wonder what it is about that pattern that has been so interesting to so many for so long.

The Joy Division image is derived from data from the pulsar CP 1919.

The blobs in Curiosity’s track are the result of holes in the rover’s wheels.
In Morse Code, they spell ‘JPL’.
