Gee, I wonder what the difference between Mark Wahlberg and Jussie Smollett might be?
And on a related theme…
What about states’ rights?
So it seems like the Chicago prosecutor may have been overly lenient and she will be investigated by the DOJ. But that’s totally separate from the impending investigation of the fake poisoned letters. That’s been going along and there have been no announcements about that, other than the anonymous sources, because that’s how things go with FBI investigations. Jussie is facing a serious problem with that situation.
I can’t believe people here are criticizing me saying that I’m pointing these things out because of how I feel about black men or anything else. Seriously, what is that based on? I go on facts and reality, and also an understanding that there’s no one is perfect and all humans are capable of telling lies. Notice that the Chicago PD and the mayor of Chicago also are basically in agreement with my views on what happened.
History? Reality?
Consult history and reality.
Of white men.
But are they “white” sources… because they count double… /s
In reality… yep.
I also “love” to see all the people trying to pair “My only concern is corruption in the justice system” with “Why would anyone have a problem with the friendly, fair-dealing civil servants at Chicago PD?”.
It’s especially great when it’s in a single paragraph.
That lawsuit strikes me a outrageous. The idea of suing someone for making a report to the police is a door that should be slammed shut, I don’t care the circumstances. And over $130k? How many people have to decide not to report a crime out of fear before the damage to society from this suit adds up to more than $130k? I know they think he did wrong, but that’s why they arrested him.
