I get the point. But a thought struck my funny bone:

Nuclear reactors: beyond the general radioactivity of the core, the unburned ones you buy at the store generally do do not have much higher than environmental radiation.

I’m glad he addressed that K40 doesnt persist in the body. Because the human body regulates potassium in the, the “banana-scale” sometimes used for off the cuff radiation dose comparisons is deeply flawed. Excess potassium is rapidly whisked out of the system yielding an undetectable effect on the body cells.

Even still, I’ll take care not to eat banana peels
