At first I figured he got more K out of the peels because the flesh has more water, but that doesn’t look right.
The flesh is 23.5% solid matter (1.54 kg dry / 6.56 kg wet) and the peel is 11.6% solid (.40 kg / 3.44 kg).
33 g KClO4 for flesh and 41 g KClO4 for the peel gives us 2.15% KClO4 in the dry flesh and 10.3% by mass in the dry peel.
