We’re all clear that Trump/Barr trying to make the Federal Government the defendant in this case is some Grade A authoritarian bullshit, right? Setting up “Dear Leader” = “The Government” is real bad.

The more I think about this, the more I see the disturbing push to equate Trump to America. Any perceived opposition to him is an attack on America. Suing him for liable is suing America.
I wonder how much time he needs before people are standing with their hands on their hearts, pledging allegiance to Trump
