It may have been ‘isolated’ in that it was just the two of them in the room, but it was far from an isolated incident. Spokesweasel “Gayheart” needs to brush up on what has been going on in the US for many years - cops with temper problems shooting people.

This is a prime example of the cowardice of the media. I had seen headlines “Judge killed” Judge killed in Kentucky courthouse shooting - CBS News
but the headlines I saw didn’t say “by a cop.”

I’ve heard (unconfirmed) from other sources that the judge might have raped the sheriff’s teenage daughter, and also that the sheriff is facing charges for extorting blowjobs from women he stopped. If true, that shines an entirely different light on the case.
