Interesting kickstarter, though pls note that Cavendish wrote Blazing World, and unless she was even more amazing than I’m aware of, did not illustrate it herself:
Dave McKean is all right, but you really buried the lede just tossing BRECHT EVENS’s name just casually in there at the end.

just watching the video , one can
almost smell the old books,
feel the thick, heavy pages
and hear the “crick” of the spine.
Printing and publishing books used to be
considered a craft
by deficated and proud professionals.
So nice to see those qualities again.
