Well Analog nee Astounding is still around, but I’ll admit that back in the day Galaxy was my preferred SF digest.

Just barely. It sells less than a quarter of what it did at its peak. It survives mainly because its publisher can gang costs for several magazines. What they’re proposing to do isn’t impossible, but very hard. And I don’t think the Amazing name is worth very much. They would likely be better off starting from scratch with a new thing.
