So much this. Me, two girls, 7/11. Every time I underestimate their capabilities, I end up surprised, worried, or mad. Usually all three.

I don’t know if all parents have this, but after many years I have a built-in 30 minute ping.
If the ping gets a NACK, I get off my back. “GIRLS? What’s going on?”.
