Dang, I just picked up a 4 pack at the Dollar Store, for a $1.
When I use one of these I keep the textured side up, to keep the food from slipping (and help keep liquids from running off).
We have one for the days when we fire up the bread machine. It works well, but is starting to get scarred up from the bread knife.
I got those. I like them, But on my stainless countertops they still skid a bit
Floppy cutting boards are the bane of my life.
Just give me wood. Much more hygienic and recyclable. And they don’t flop when you’re trying to lift them, spilling thing all over the counter top. Who has two hands free in the kitchen at any point?
Or hard rubber, like a Sani-Tuff. They’re made for commercial kitchen use, so they’ll last forever in a home kitchen.
