This book! This book is so good that I could not put it down in a music venue because it was better than the bands onstage. That has never happened to me, and I work with books for a living.
I have loved Beukes’ writing since I first picked up Moxyland. I’ve been reading her stuff ever since, and she never disappoints. She’s just that good, and she keeps getting better. She’s not lazy - she wants to write beautifully crafted novels.
Go get this. Go get anything by her, and you should walk away happy.
